This is the time of year that

causes me to suffer from (fishing) depression. It is too cold to work on the boat or to go fishing. By now I have organized my tackle, cleaned

and lubricated the rods and reels, and done just about everything that can be done pre-season. Boat shows are all that is left to bring me closer to the water. continued

Well it is almost here, the largest spring rockfish tournament in the country, the 27th annual Championship on the Chesapeake is April 30th through May 2nd. For 27 years now, the MSSA has been hosting this great event and every year it seems to get better and better. This year we have added a few new things and improved a few others.  continued
