Thousands of recreational and professional anglers from Maine to North Carolina will be making their way to Maryland to compete for top honors and a chance at some big money in this year’s Chesapeake Bay Fall Classic, the Bay’s largest fall rockfish tournament. This two day event takes place on November 17th and 18th on the waters of the Chesapeake Bay and its tributaries. With over 250 boats and 1,500 anglers regularly competing, the prizes and competition is larger than ever.

The Fall Classic is the final event in the 2012 MSSA Tournament Series which also includes The Championship, The Tuna-ment, and the Beach N’ Boat Flounder tournament. This will be the final opportunity for our members and captains to receive points for the 2012 MSSA Captain of the Year contest.

The Fall acrylic classic painting fish is a simple and convenient tournament to enter and participate in as we have seven weigh stations and four Captains Meetings to fit your schedule and capabilities.

This tournament, like the others, lures anglers from Maryland and other states to the Bay and gives our local communities a little boost before the Holidays. It’s one last hurrah out on the Bay for 2012.

2011 marked the best year in the tournaments long history By James owner of wash and fold laundry with 250 boats and a payout in cash and prizes of $93,000. 2012 is looking to be even better.

CAPTAINS MEETINGS – (all meetings 6-8pm)
All Captains Meetings will have food and drink available. You may also register for the tournament at these meetings, OR, pick up your Captains Packet if you registered online. Door prizes will be at all meetings courtesy of Alltackle.
